Sri lankan premium travel and tourism exhibition “Sanchaaraka Udaawa” was held at BMICH Srimavo Bandaranayake Hall on 17th and 18th may 2024. Sancharaka Udawa serves as a unique platform for both B2B and B2C sectors. It promotes interaction between industry stakeholders and relevant government bodies, featuring over 170 exhibitors and drawing more than 10,000 visitors
The Sri Lanka Institute of National Tourist Guide Lecturers participated in this event. The theme of our participation was “Stop Illegal Guiding”, which is an acute issue in the current tourism industry. Our participation was a huge success and we were able to acknowledge the public about the burning issues of the industry and to introduce our selves and the duty of the national tour guides as unofficial ambassadors of the nation.
